| Newark, NJ-- 21:19 hrs 57 Crane Street 2nd Alarm.
Battalion Chief-3 arrives on-scene with heavy fire from the top floors of a 3 story vacant house. Battalion Chief-3 reports all arriving companies will be using defensive operations, requests 3rd & 4th due engines report to the D side for exposure protection. Deputy-1 arrives on scene assumes command reports fully involved structure requests additional Signal 9 above the working fire. Deputy-1 shortly after orders the 2nd alarm filled out, companies operating multiple lines at this time. Deputy-1 reports main body of fires darkening down with near total collapse of the structure. Around 21:54 hrs Deputy-1 reports no extension to the exposures fire is U/C with a extended overhaul operation. Neighbors stated that multiple squatters were in and out of the fire building all day, the fire remains under investigation by the Newark Fire Department Arson Unit. |

| Hanover Township, Lehigh County, Pa--568 Cedar Hill Drive. Companies arrived to a 2 story apartment building with heavy fire showing from the second floor end unit. Firefighters placed multiple lines in service making quick work on the fire. During the search firefighters recovered an unconscious dog, firefighters and EMS went to work and successfully revived the dog. |

HANOVER TOWNSHIP, PA CHEMICAL EXPLOSION

| Hanover, Township, Pa--110 Commerce Way Ungerer and Co. 1st alarm for a chemical explosion and fire in the building. Companies arrived and reported small fire after the explosion and one male with severe chemical burns. Engine 1511 extinguished the fire, remaining companies were utilized for ventilation and hazmat control. |
