NEWARK, NJ 4 ALARM HOUSE FIRE

Newark, NJ-- 12:37 hrs 215 1/2 Garside Street.

Battalion 3 struck a 2nd alarm on arrival for a  working fire in a 2.5 story duplex and exposures. Arriving companies placed multiple lines in service attacking the fire from multiple exposures. Deputy 1 evacuated all firefighters placing multiple large lines and ladder pipes into service. The fire eventually went to 4 alarms spreading to 4 homes.
