Palmer Township, Pa: A second alarm was struck just after 5pm this afternoon for a working fire on the 2nd floor of the Palmer View Apartments at 3650 Corriere Road. Smoke was seen throughout the apartment building, making its way to the main entrance on the first floor. Radio communications reported that there was one occupant with smoke inhalation; all other occupants were reported to have made it out safely. Photo Gallery
Palmer Township, PA — Emergency crews responded to Redner’s Market after a man and two dogs became trapped in the rear of a garbage truck. The man was pinned against the compactor after the driver compacted the load of garbage. The driver later heard screams coming from the truck and immediately contacted emergency services. Both dogs were safely rescued from the rear of the compactor and appeared unharmed, the male was transported by Suburban EMS with injuries unknown at this time. Photo Gallery
